Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, Sandra Kuck attended the University of California, Los Angeles and the Arts Students League, New York City.
"My paintings are meant to be an escape from reality, an escape to the charm and romanticism of a Victorian era, rich in detail, pattern and decoration. I am interested in creating a peaceful mood through the subject matter, but also one that is visually exciting through the interplay of light and pattern and color."
As a member of New York's Art Student League, Sandra Kuck continues to work steadily as an artist with the support of her husband John. In 1983, she was recognized by the prestigious National Association of Limited Edition Dealers as one of the most promising and talented artists in America.
Since then, she has been awarded seven times as Artist of the Year by NALED, as well as garnering praise for Plate of the Year and Print of the Year.
